Recording

On account creation a 3 month subscription is included to the ERA Protect Plus plan.  This will give you access to 30-day rolling video storage on all cameras in your account. At the end of the three month period a cover plan will be required for your camera(s) to continue to record video.

If a subscription is not purchased, the camera will provide a live stream only. The cover plans start at only £2.50 per month!

ERA Protect Replica Siren – Fake Alarm Box

This fake alarm box, similarly to the live siren, provides you with extra defence for the outside of your home. Pet Friendly PIR Motion Sensor

The PIR sensor or Passive InfraRed sensor is an electronic device that detects motion by receiving infrared radiation. If an object emits heat it will be detected by the lighting system and will trigger a signal. Simply said, thanks to temperature sensitivity the motion sensor can distinguish a moving branch from an actual living person and save you many false alarms.

When a motion is detected, the ERA Protect security system will send a notification to your compatible smartphone. The PIR motion detector has a built-in tamper protection, so you will get an alert when someone is trying to remove or destroy the device as well. To ensure you do not receive multiple notifications for the same event the sensor will stop detecting motion for the next 5 minutes. During this time the motion detector will be put into sleep mode and the LED indication light won’t flash. All this to preserve the life of the battery and save you time and money.

The motion detector is pet friendly. The sensor works smoothly with pets up to 25 kgs. That means your furry friends can roam freely around the property and you can activate your alarm without worrying about them triggering a false alarm.

The PIR Motion Sensor detects motion up to 12m away with a detection zone of 90 degrees. We recommend fixing the sensor in the corner of the room at a height of 2.3m from the ground with a clear field of view. It is a simple DIY set-up, and the fixing kit is included in the box. You can simply fix the sensor to the wall by using either mounting tape or screws provided.

Wireless Windows and Doors Alarm Sensor

The door alarm contact sensor uses magnets to determine if the entrance remains closed or got open. As soon as it detects unauthorised entry it triggers the alarm and the notification is sent to you via the smart phone app. If anyone tries to sneak into your home, you will know about it immediately!

According to recent research, more than 76% of burglars gain entry via a door and 1 in 5 enter through a window. Consider buying sensors for the main entrance and the back door. Those are the most important entry points of each property. If you have additional home entry doors, for example connecting your home to the garage, we recommend adding a sensor there as well.

The accessory is designed to fit and protect any entry point. The clever mechanism of the sensor doesn’t have to be aligned horizontally, so you can fit it to an angled door and window frames as well. The door and window sensor is great as a part of your smart security system but can be used as a child safety system as well. You can fix it on the front door, windows and even cupboards, so you can make sure the off-limits rooms like the kitchen are closed and your kids are not sneaking through the cupboards.

How does it work then? The sensor comes in two parts – one with a sensor inside and the other one is a magnet. When the door or window is opened the connection between the pieces is broken and the LED indicator triggers the alarm. We recommend placing the sensor on the fixed surface and the smaller magnetic component on the moving part of the door frame. For optimum protection, position the sensor and magnet as close to each other as possible. Try to keep the gap no more than 10mm.

The system is a DIY easy to install set-up. You can attach the sensor with either the adhesive mounts or the screws provided. The alarm sensors are tamper-proof, meaning you will get notified if anyone tries to remove or destroy the sensor as well.

Never worry about getting access to your alarm quickly, as the handy keyring remote control allows you to arm, part-arm and disarm with a push of a button.

The wireless remote control is compatible with the ERA Protect Alarm system and enables you to arm and disarm the system when entering or leaving the property. If you’re staying at home but need to activate the alarm over a part of the house, for example a garage or upper floor, you can easily part-arm by using ‘home mode’.

Ideal for smaller children that perhaps don’t have access to an app or having troubles memorising the passcode. You can also share the remote with the family members or friends who need to arm or disarm the alarm temporarily without giving out the PIN.

Two-way wireless communication and the built-in LED indicator confirms use of the remote and the Plus Action button is customisable to your requirements if you choose one of our ERA cover plans.
