Setting the standard for Engineering Excellence

Setting the standard for Engineering Excellence
As one of the UK's leading home security providers, ERA has almost doubled the size of its engineering department since the beginning of the year. All of which plays a part in their commitment to delivering first class product innovation and services to homeowners.  Growing over 75% over the past 8 months, ERA's in-house engineering department has boosted their product development and manufacturing capabilities within the distribution and consumer markets.

An expanding portfolio of products
ERA's Head of Engineering, Matthew King, has led the progression of the department, getting involved with customer application, product development and project management.

The significant expansion of our engineering department places us in an optimal position to react to our customers’ requirements in the shortest possible lead times, and engineer innovative, high quality solutions that meet their unique specifications.

Whilst the growth of the department enables us to react instantly to the needs of such a fast paced market, it also ensures our strategic new product development is not impacted and the service support for our extensive network of customers is consistently maintained.”

Delivering high-class product performance

The continued engineering investment places ERA at the forefront of industry progression. This is supported by the engineering department’s partnership with ERA’s accredited test house at its headquarters in the West Midlands. It ensures every product is designed, manufactured and tested to the highest possible standards to deliver first class aesthetics, durability and performance.

ERA’s engineering department is continuing to adopt modern methods of engineering, whilst also utilising the latest manufacturing techniques to achieve ultimate levels of product design and performance.
