How to remove a product from an ERA account

If you want to return, sell, reinstall or dispose your ERA product you will need to remove the product from your account and hard reset it. The instruction for properly removing and resetting your ERA product from your account and factory resetting it respectively are detailed below:

ERA Protect Indoor Camera

To decommission a device:

1. Go into your app:
2. Click on Settings
3. Choose your Camera under Camera Settings
     3.1. If Camera Offline, Click on Dustbin next to your Camera name
     3.2. If Camera Online, Click on Camera name to get in the Camera Settings, at the bottom, Click on Delete Camera, and follow instructions.
4. Please “HARD RESET” your Camera to restore the Camera to the Factory Settings.

ERA Protect Outdoor Camera

To decommission a device:

1. Go into your app:
2. Click on Settings
3. Choose your Camera under Camera SettingsIf Camera Offline, Click on
     3.1. Dustbin next to your Camera name
     3.2. If Camera Online, Click on Camera name to get in the Camera Settings, at the bottom, Click on Delete Camera, and follow instructions. 
4. Please “HARD RESET” your Camera to restore the Camera to the Factory Settings.

    ERA Protect Floodlight Camera

    To decommission a device:

    1. Go into your app:
    2. Click on Settings
    3. Choose your Camera under Camera Settings
         3.1. If Camera is Offline, Click on Dustbin next to your Camera name
         3.2. If Camera is Online, Click on Camera name to get in the Camera Settings, at the bottom, Click on Delete Camera, and follow instructions. 
    4. Please “HARD RESET” your camera to restore the camera to the Factory Settings.

      ERA Protect Alarm System

      To decommission a device:

      1. Go into your app:
      2. Click on Settings
      3. Choose your Alarm under Alarm Settings
           3.1. If Alarm is Offline, Click on Dustbin next to your Alarm name
           3.2. If Alarm is Online, Click on Alarm name to get in the Alarm Settings, at the bottom, Click on Delete Hub , and follow instructions. 
      4. Please “HARD RESET” your Hub to restore the Hub to the Factory Settings.

        ERA TouchKey

        To decommission a device:

        1. Go into your app:
        2. Go to  your TouchKey Settings: (Either by the Hamburger menu or the Settings icon on the TouchKey dashboard on the top righthand corner once the TouchKey has been connected
        3. If you have any  Fingerprints enrolled you will have to  delete these:
             3.1. Go  to  Fingerprint settings in the TouchKey Settings page
             3.2. Click on the Fingerprint you want to  delete
             3.3. You will see the Delete/Edit appear
             3.4. Click on Delete
             3.5. Fingerprint will be deleted
        4. Go to the bottom of the TouchKey Settings page
             4.1. You will see the Delete TouchKey icon
             4.2. Now click 'Delete TouchKey'. 
        5. Please 'HARD RESET' your TouchKey lock to restore the lock to factory settings. 

          How to Hard Reset your TouchKey:

          1. On the inside of your Doorlock next to the battery compartment, you will see the Hard Reset PIN space
          2. Insert the PIN into the space and hold for 5 seconds
          3. Release PIN and you will hear a Beep and your TouchKey will reboot
          4. Your LED on your TouchKey will start  flashing BLUE after reboot signifying that your product has been Hard Reset
